Show Notes

Kubrick collectors have a new reason to rejoice as the Kubrick Boba Fett set, containing 8 variations of Star Wars' most famous bounty hunter, has shipped. With six regular versions, and two ultra-rare chase versions, more people are owning more Kubrick Bobas now than ever before. This week Star Wars Action News opens their own case of Boba.

We also this week have Bill Cable, president of the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society, with us talking about the medallions they are selling as a charity fundraiser for Operation Ward 57. Then we look at some of the new red packaged vehicles and Galactic Heroes, discuss the "corrected" Target exclusive Rancor variant, discuss the sell-through of the Hallmark Greedo Christmas Ornament, take your voice mails about where to find new Deluxe figures and red cards, and get plans in place for San Diego Comic Con!

If you're going to San Diego for Comic Con, you can join us for several events. First, we will be doing a LIVE show from the Kotobukiya booth in the exhibit hall on Thursday, July 24th at 4 p.m. Come out, there will be prizes, trivia, and tell us what you think of the show. Then on Friday, Star Wars day, we will be having our annual Star Wars Action News dinner at the San Diego Burger Company in the Seaport Villiage (on the Pink Bus route). Finally Saturday we are planning a TATTOO-ine party, where you can join us and get inked, the ultimate convention exclusive! Come to any or all of these events, and let us know if you're joining us on the forums at swactionnews.com.
