Show Notes

Thanksgiving Turkey. Family gatherings. Egg Nog. Hard to find Target exclusives. Yes, the last item on the list has become part of the holiday tradition first with the Imperial Shuttle, then the AT-ST and Turret Ultimate Battle Packs, and now with the Battle of Christophis battle pack. Sure, it's no surprise to us collectors, but that makes things even more frustrating. Listen as Marjorie and Arnie go shopping on Chartrouse Wednesday and Black Friday trying to hunt down the Battle of Christophis, and its sibling Ultimate Battle Pack, the Pit of Carkoon.

Also this week we get an update on the latest Star Wars Minis, including exclusive minis, how to get some needed troop builders, and running down the most recent and easest to collect minis set yet.

With your voicemails telling what the latest waves of figures you're finding, details on an R2 aquarium, information how to maximize your Toys For Tots donation, and a discussion of tiny nuts, it's all on the latest episode of Star Wars Action News!

This year, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has a new, convenient way for the American public to deliver toys to children in need. With a simple text message, anyone can make a $5 donation to Toys for Tots by simply texting the word “TOY” to 90999. Each $5 donation will be added to the donor’s next mobile phone bill.

Not only will your donation go to helping deserving children during this hard economic time, but Hasbro will donate a toy or game for every text donation received by December 21st 2008, up to 150,000 texts!
